libkal-dev software package provides library for converting dates between various calendar systems, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkal-dev
libkal-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkal-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkal-dev *
You will get with libkal-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
